Getting Started

Our compassionate referral team is ready to support you and your family by providing information, answering your questions, and assisting you in setting up your first appointment.


Steps to Getting Started:

  1. Contact us by calling 615-377-1623 and choosing option 2 or click here to use our online form to share basic information. Someone will call you to discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and get the appointment scheduled.
  2. Our referral team will obtain a prescription for therapy from your child’s physician, if needed.
  3. Our billing team will contact your insurance company to verify your benefits and will email you with the information, including your estimated financial responsibility. We are in-network with most insurance companies.
  4. Prior to your scheduled appointment, our front office will send you an email with a new client intake form. Please complete the form and email it back or bring it with you when you come for your first appointment. Please remember to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment, as there will be more paperwork to complete upon check in.
  5. The initial evaluation will be completed in a one-on-one session with your child and a therapist. The therapist will assess their strengths and challenges and build a treatment plan tailored to their needs. Parents/guardians have the option of staying with their child during the evaluation or waiting in the waiting room. Regardless, the therapist will spend time with the parent or guardian to acquire additional information and provide a synopsis of their findings.
  6. A full written report, including the child’s individualized treatment plan, will be sent via email in approximately 7 days.
  7. If direct therapy services are recommended, our front office will be contacting you to schedule appointments.
