Mary Luttrell

Mary Luttrell, M.S., OTR/L knew from an early age that working with children was something she wanted to do, but it wasn’t until her nephew was diagnosed with autism that she discovered her love for occupational therapy. Raised in Nashville, TN, she attended Belmont University and earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Elementary Education. From there, she earned her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Milligan College in east Tennessee. She completed her fieldwork education at Pediatric Therapy Network in southern California, where she discovered her passion for sensory processing and Sensory Integration theory. After beginning her career in Chicago at a pediatric outpatient clinic and therapeutic day school, she decided to relocate back to her home of Nashville. Since 2017, Mary has been a full-time therapist at Pediatric Therapies and has loved every day of it! Mary has experience working with children with autism, sensory processing disorder, behavioral issues, Down syndrome, feeding concerns, neurological disorders, fine motor and visual motor delays, and developmental delays. She has taken continuing education courses in neurodevelopment treatment strategies and is certified in the SOS Feeding Approach. Mary enjoys traveling, concert-going, playing with her golden retriever, and spending time with friends and family.
