Katie Roberts PT, DPT is originally from Tupelo, Mississippi. She completed undergraduate studies at Ole Miss, earning a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science before pursuing masters work in Health Promotion at Mississippi State. She then moved to Birmingham, Alabama where she obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After working with adults in the inpatient setting at UAB’s University Hospital for 2 years, an opportunity arose for her to pursue her true passion, working with children. She worked for 4 years at Children’s of Alabama in Birmingham in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
She is excited to relocate to Nashville with her husband, Benjamin, as he completes his medical training. She began working for Pediatric Therapies in the summer of 2018. Katie is an American Physical Therapy Association credentialed clinical instructor and a certified Child Passenger Safety technician with advanced training for transporting children with special healthcare needs. She enjoys baking, traveling, reading, and playing with her King Charles Cavalier named Theodore.
