Emily Johnson received her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science from Arizona State University and her Master of Science in Education in Speech-Language Pathology from SUNY College at Buffalo. After completing her education, Emily moved to the Nashville area to escape the snow and begin her career as a speech-language pathologist. Emily spent one year working in a school-based setting providing therapeutic services to children between the ages of three and twenty-two. She has experience in many areas, including articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, autism spectrum disorders, apraxia, fluency, social-pragmatic language, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and augmentative/alternative communication. Emily is excited to be part of a multidisciplinary team and believes in collaborating with parents and other professionals to help children reach their full potential. In her free time, Emily enjoys running and working out, spending time outside, and playing with her miniature dachshund, Duke.
