Alyssa LeMay, M.S., OTR/L received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa where she was a 4-year collegiate cheerleader. While attending undergrad, Alyssa worked as a paraprofessional in a life-skills classroom, fueling her passion to serve the pediatric population. Alyssa then moved to Nashville to pursue her masters in occupational therapy from Tennessee State University. Alyssa spent time volunteering at Pediatric Therapies, GiGi’s Playhouse, and Illuminate Academy throughout her time as a graduate student. Alyssa completed clinical rotations in Metro Nashville Public Schools and in a pediatric outpatient clinic in Chicago, IL, where she gained experiences working with children diagnosed with autism, sensory processing disorder, a variety of learning differences, fine motor and visual motor delays, and developmental delays.
Alyssa and her husband Luke are originally from the Chicago area and spend a lot of time traveling/visiting with family and friends. She enjoys playing with her new dog, exercising, and exploring Nashville!
