Allison Henry
Allison R. Henry M.Ed., CCC-SLP is an ASHA certified Speech-Language Pathologist who received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech-language Pathology from Valdosta State University, and a Masters of Education degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University. Allison has worked in a variety of clinical settings including adult and adolescent rehabilitation facilities, home health services, developmental preschools, and private therapy clinics. Allison has worked with Pediatric Therapies since September of 2008, and has clinical experience working with children with a variety of communication delays/disorders including but not limited to: receptive and expressive language impairments, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, speech sound disorders (childhood apraxia of speech, phonological impairments, dysarthria, cleft palate, and oral-myofunctional disorders), as well as feeding and swallowing disorders. Allison has received certification in the Sensory Oral Sequential (SOS) Feeding program and the Beckman Oral-motor Protocol.
Allison is married to her high school sweetheart, Ned, and they have two children, Madison and Noah. Allison enjoys cooking, crafting, and spending time with family.
